Paraty, a UNESCO World Natural and Cultural Heritage Site, is part of the so-called ‘Costa Verde’ (Green Coast) of the state of Rio de Janeiro and is surrounded by four large conservation areas, right in the heart of the Atlantic Rainforest.
There are 65 islands and around 60 small beaches to discover in Paraty Bay. Small or large, wild or trendy, the bay's islands and beaches form an idyllic setting of crystal-clear, emeraldgreen waters surrounded by forests.
During the summer, the landscape becomes even more beautiful and a boat trip with Pousada Literária is the perfect way to experience this moment.
We have a bilingual nautical team dedicated to our guests and our own boats (26-foot speedboat, 33-foot speedboat and a 36-foot Catamarã). Lasting between 5 and 6 hours, the trip includes a special picnic basket (courtesy of Pousada Literária) and a stop for lunch at one of the caiçara restaurants on the islands.
